2026 State Tournament

Hosted by the Barefield College of Arts and Sciences and the Styslinger College of Engineering, the 2026 state-level Science Olympiad Tournament allows Alabama students, from 6th to 9th grade (Division-B), the chance to compete against other schools in STEM competitions. The winning team will have the opportunity to move on to the National Science Olympiad Tournament at The University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California in May 2026.

This year’s tournament will take place in person on Saturday, February 28, 2026, on The University of Alabama campus.
