2027 State Tournament

Hosted by the Barefield College of Arts and Sciences and the Styslinger College of Engineering, the 2027 state-level Science Olympiad Tournament allows Alabama students, from 9th to 12th grade (Division C), the chance to compete against other schools in STEM competitions. The winning team will have the opportunity to move on to the National Science Olympiad Tournament at The Ohio State University May 14-15, 2027.

In Alabama, this year’s state tournament will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2027, on The University of Alabama campus.
